General Treatment of Hand and Wrist Pain

Chiropractic treatment of repetitive movement disorders is discussed here. Treatment for other wrist and hand pain can include myofascial release, acupuncture, physical conditioning and exercises. We will pay special attention to “trigger points,” including muscles in the forearm and neck.

Dr. Aboudib may try manual manipulation of the joints and soft tissues of the area from the wrist to the spine, including the carpal bones, wrist, elbow, shoulder and articulations of the cervical (neck) and thoracic (upper back) spine. Muscles surrounding the forearm, upper arm, shoulder and upper back will also be tended to, as many patients complain of pain radiating from those areas.

Treatment may also include wrist decompression, cold laser, and/or ultrasound.

Painless Treatment of Carpal Tunnel

I started to experience carpal tunnel discomfort last summer. This became progressively worse and affected both of my hands. I found it difficult to hold a newspaper, drive, and especially sleep. I consulted a hand surgeon who suggested not having surgery until the condition became much worse. Finally this summer I was treated by Dr. Aboudib who used a painless electrical massage procedure and after only several twenty-minute treatments the condition was reduced by over 80%. I highly recommend this painless treatment. ~ Albert Svgec

The article also discusses "leaky gut" as a possible explanation to why this little boy's medications failed, and why a regimen focused on his digestive health seems to be the cause of a happy ending. There's a... Read More
